Abs are made in the winter and so is popping, long hair. I'm trying very hard to maintain a protective style routine until it's no jacket in the night time weather 😎🔆 These mini twists were done on freshly detangled hair and pinned up with duck clips and bobby pins. Of course, I used my form beauty multitask Leave in to refresh my hair and get it juicy. Truth be told, I couldn't find any hair ties but the duck clips came in handy and they kind of even look decorative. Ima explain why you probably never see me… 💁🏾‍♀️ 📷: @damalyshh + bro . I learned last year that I'm a perfectionist. This was a weird realization because I didn't think I fit the mold of what I imagine a perfectionist to be - highly attentive to detail, inflexible, and picky. The person who can't stand a single thing out of place or awry. Sure, I could exhibit these occasionally but most times I felt indifferent about the details. · However, it was brought to attention that my perfectionism manifests when I'm working towards goals. I need the timing to be right, perfect work conditions, a prescriptive routine. Otherwise, I don't budge forward on the task. As cliché as it seems, this might actually be one of my biggest weaknesses. · Lately, I've been relearning how to push my self, grind, and create even when conditions aren't optimal. I had to realize that 1) some things are out of my control and 2) while I'm waiting for perfection, time is slipping 3) most people don't even notice the different between my 75% perfect and 100% perfect. On this note, expect a few more imperfect moments from me, especially on my IG story and blog. I've been learning new skills and investing in this heart project of mine because I want to help you and you can't wait for perfect.
